David Cresson

David Cresson is in his 16th year as the Executive Director/CEO of CCA Louisiana. He oversees the organization’s conservation programs and legislative initiatives and works closely with CCA’s 29 chapters throughout the state encompassing 30,000 members and volunteers. Cresson also oversee CCA’s staff at its Baton Rouge headquarters. During his tenure at CCA Louisiana, the organization has completed construction on 45 individual artificial reefs, created the REEF Louisiana Program, and lead numerous other habitat projects across the State. A graduate of Spring Hill College in Mobile, Cresson previously served as the Executive Director and CEO of Our Lady of the Lake Hospital Foundation. The New Orleans area native is an avid outdoorsman and dedicated family man who has been married for 30 years to his wife Melissa. They live in Baton Rouge with their three beautiful children.
