Nick Green

Nick Green comes from a background in journalism, multi-media production and advocacy. Working in Michigan at the state's largest conservation nonprofit, Green successfully communicated and advocated against the sterilization of white-tailed deer, worked to help the general public understand intricacies of the Great Lakes Consent Decree negotiation process and fought against the Michigan boating ban handed down in Spring 2020. Green was editor of Michigan Out-of-Doors Magazine from 2017 until 2024.

As Nimrod Society Director of Communications and Marketing, Green's focus is on creating a national consensus and coalition among nonprofits, companies, legislators and agencies supporting the Wildlife Council model as a durable means of educating the general public about conservation and its economics.

Green is an avid bird hunter and dog lover, chasing upland game and fowl throughout the United States whenever time allows.
