Russ Mason

Russ Mason has worked in wildlife management for over 40 years. He's served as a research scientist and program manager for USDA Wildlife Services, Game Chief for the Nevada Department of Wildlife, Wildlife Chief for the Michigan Department of Wildlife and Science Advisor to the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies. He's also been a teaching and research faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania (biology), Rutgers University (animal science), Utah State University (biology, wildlife science, psychology), University of Nevada (wildlife science), and University of Wyoming (agriculture). At present, besides serving as an advisor to the Nimrod Society, Russ is an advisor to the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota (CWD, Avian Influenza) and to the National Rifle Association's Hunter Leadership Forum (lead vs. alternative ammunition).
